The Ayurveda Pancha Karma cure is a traditionally proven cleansing, rejuvenation cure and was used by the royal family in old Sri Lanka to keep young. This Ayurveda cure has been developed and passed down over many generations.

Depending on the constitution and illness, an individual therapy program is developed and carried out. After the first main examination, the Ayurveda doctor will draw up a differentiated therapy plan, which will be reconciled daily.

Meaning

There is hardly any Ayurveda procedure in Europe that is as famous as Pancha Karma. The term pancha means "five" and karma in this context stands for executive actions. Pancha karma are therefore five executive actions, the preparation, implementation and aftercare which are described in detail in the classic compendia of Ayurveda.

Although adjustments are required in the doses of the individual procedures nowadays and in Europe, spa facilities should follow the traditional guidelines as closely as possible to prevent side effects and to ensure the long-term success of the treatment.

Therapy plan

In the first phase, unbalanced energies are mobilized.

In the main therapy phase, extensive therapeutic measures take place in which the previously mobilized slag is removed. Other therapeutic procedures or herbal preparations have a restorative, balancing and rejuvenating effect.

Good cure preparation and follow-up cure at home are very important. Therefore, you will receive instructions from us on how you can best prepare for the cure. Furthermore, our doctors are also available to you before and after the treatment. At the end of the cure, you will receive individual recommendations in order to let the cure end optimally and to keep the cure success as long as possible.

Cure phases

A Pancha Karma cure can basically be divided into three cure phases:

Pre-treatment

Ernährungsumstellung, Verdauungs- und Stoffwechselkorrektur

Main-treatment

The main-treatment consists of five intensive drainage procedures with a systemic effect: gastric therapy, laxative therapy, intestinal enema therapy, intranasal therapy and blood purification therapy. These are systematically prepared, carried out consistently and then carefully looked after.

Which of the 5 therapies is used depends on the individual diagnosis. In the Pancha Karma main course, at least 3 of the 5 procedures must be carried out.

Post-treatment

In the post-cure, the acquired balance should be stabilized in order to be able to withstand the demands of everyday life. For this purpose, the diet is gradually built up and other stresses are adapted to the physical possibilities. In Ayurveda, Rasayana is a fountain of youth for refining the body after deep cleansing.
